Mavro Tsipouro is the culmination of Greek traditional knowledge paired with modern distillation techniques. The result is a spirit that dramatically enhances the flavour profile of the traditional distillate and elevates it to a level equivalent to international spirits of distinction. Mavro Tsipouro is produced exclusively from the juice of grapes grown in British Columbia. Well ripened grapes of aromatic varieties are pressed. The resulting juice is then fermented and distilled in combination with multiple distillations to produce a Tsipouro with a high aromatic profile, a full body and a soft finish. The resulting product is of a quality unlike any other. Mavro Tsipouro is a traditional accompaniment to appetizers and Greek mezethes, such as fried fish, calamari, homous, and many others. Enjoy it chilled from the freezer, neat or with water and ice to taste.
